Church Ministries
New & Prospective Member Class and Luncheon
Once a quarter we offer a New Members Class and Luncheon for those members who have joined our church in the last three months and for our guests who simply want more information about our church. During the class you will learn the basic beliefs we have as Baptists. You will also hear about the many ministries and activities we offer at First Baptist Church. Just before lunch you will take a tour of the facilities and learn some of the history of the church. Finally, you'll enjoy a catered lunch with the staff and their families. The class is offered during the Bible study hour and the second worship service.
Diamond Set
Diamond Set is a group of 55 Plus adult that get together on the fourth Tuesday of the month. They have Blood Pressure Checks at 10:30 a.m. in room 108. At 11:30 a.m. in the Activity Center, a lunch and special program begins. Generally, it is bring a dish lunch, but sometimes, the church provides the food. A great time is had, come and be a part of this ministry.
New Life Journey
New Life Journey is the discipleship training of First Baptist Church. There are many facets of discipleship training including new members into the church, promoting spiritual growth, strengthening family relationships, and equipping members for leadership and ministry.
